Cha Cha Update: Still Sewing Away

Hello everyone, I have been busy this week coming up with some new designs that will be available for Fall as well as working on some limited addition pieces that will have vintage lining and some unique hardware that I have found along my journeys. Another thing I am working on is a Cha Cha launch party. Sometime in late Oct or early November I will be hosting a party to introduce Cha Cha to Toronto. The party will preview of new pieces, music, drinks, gift bags and more. The location has yet to be confirmed but I am checking out a few places around King and Queen West. Anyone with a bag fetish is welcome! If you would like to be invited please send me your email address and I will send you an invite when the time nears. I will post some recent pictures of bags tomorrow, until then here is a picture of Lou, he likes purses too.

Here is a new shoulder bag I am working on. Brown leather, braided strap, heavy flap closure and great lining. The lining for this bag was recovered from a vintage "Vogue" one piece pant suit. It has almost every colour, purple, orange, silver, pink, the goes on. I would have loved to meet the lovely lady who wore this back in the day. This bag is conservative on the outside and crazy on the inside. I am only making one of these. Price: $225.

New Entourage

Here is Entourage Fall 2007. I have changed a few things from last seasons version. I changed the leather to a tough distressed brown leather with a light gloss. This bag will get better with age and love. I have also added an outside zipper pocket. The lining hasn't been added yet. I will post those pictures when I am done. Price: $240.

I said it before and I will say it again, this belt really holds you all together. Most flattering on a woman with some real curves (no offense mannequin). Price: $80.

New to the Family

Hope everyone is enjoying their summer. It's been great here at CHA CHA. I am loving every second of this hot weather but already thinking about Fall outfits.
