I love this leather. I sort of want to keep this one. When I purchased this jacket, I was hoping I would be able to have it tailored and keep it as a jacket. It's beautiful leather, well constructed and was originally made in Canada. But there was a rip in the back that was just too large to repair. Because it is such rugged looking leather I wanted to make a style that would work well as someones everyday bag. I was able to use a lot of the lines from the original garment as well as one of the slip pockets. I have just enough leather left over to make a clutch, look for that one tomorrow.
