Winston & the Rut.

So I have two things going on this week. The first, is this adorable man Winston. 

I had never really paid that much attention to dogs till Louis came into my life and after 10 years with him I realize I need a dog in my life. They keep me on a schedule, make me exercise, they don't allow me to stay away from home longer then I should, they don't allow me to sleep in too much, they are more then willing to hang out in the kitchen and watch me cook when no one else is interested, they keep me company on long days working alone and of course they are just pretty fun to watch. So Winston came to our home last Saturday. I was very used to Louis's relaxed personality so I was a bit nervous about a stranger. But so far so good, give him some sort of chew toy and a old stuffed animal and he will hang out and chill where ever I am working. I have a feeling he is going to be a big guy, so I am going to enjoy his tininess while it lasts.

The second event of the Week: My Massive Rut

I'm having one of those weeks where I am just not excited about work. None of my ideas are getting me motivated, I can't stay focused and for the most part I have been wandering around my house cooking way more then usual to avoid work. I even cleaned to house a bit and cleaning is usually last on my list of fun things to do with my time. I did a bit of sewing last night, and I  could feel my rut fading, but not completely. I feel like I need some sort of new goal, I just don't know what it is yet. Know what I mean?
